What Does Decarbonization Mean? 

Decarbonization can refer to imposing restrictions on  systems that produce carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gas emissions, .it can also mean removing off carbon buildup and carbon deposits from internal combustion engines   

Energy decarbonization involves  attempts to stop carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere before they are  released — and also involves using  technologies to remove CO2 from the air after it  released.
